We recently completed this full backyard hardscape project for a homeowner in Peterborough. The scope included a large interlock patio, natural stone steps, a raised planter with integrated planting, and full sodding. Everything needed to walk out and enjoy the space the day we left.

For the patio we used Unilock Beacon Hill Smooth pavers in Fossil. Large natural stone steps in Slate Grey connect the existing deck down to the new patio, with a chiselled edge that adds some texture and ties the two surfaces together nicely.

The raised planter was built using the Unilock U-Cara wall system, capped with natural stone in Slate Grey to match the steps. With multiple materials across the same space, getting everything to read cohesively is what separates a good result from a great one.

Once the hardscape was done, we planted the raised beds and sodded the rest of the yard. No loose ends for the homeowner to deal with, just a finished backyard ready to use.
