We completed this septic system installation for a new home build in Stewart Hall, located in Otonabee–South Monaghan Township. The system was installed as part of the site servicing for the property and built to meet all local health unit and building requirements.

The site had a high seasonal water table and very heavy clay soils, which required the system to be installed as a raised filter bed. With careful layout and grading, we were still able to keep the system gravity fed, eliminating the need for a pump.

The work included system design and permitting, excavation for the septic tank, installation of a 6000 L concrete septic tank, and construction of the raised filter bed. Proper elevations were critical to ensure the system would function properly given the site conditions.

Once the tank and filter bed were installed, the system was backfilled and graded to prepare the property for the next stage of construction. The finished installation provides a reliable septic system for the new home while meeting all local regulatory requirements.
